Jessica Christy writes,

Decorative Events & Exhibitions annual showcase, Events Inception once again raised the benchmark for Sydney’s events industry. Teaming up with one of Sydney’s newest event spaces, COMMUNE was the canvas for the August 11 event which saw 300 influential event planners experience the future of décor, lighting, technical support, entertainment, pyrotechnics, food, wine and styling provided by Event Inception’s collaborators.

Greeted by an alluring fire-lined entrance from pyrotechnics and fireworks specialists Howard & Sons set the feel for the night and had the DCC team excited for what laid ahead for the rest of the evening. All expectations were surpassed as soon as one foot was in the door of the ‘Conservatory’. AV1 demonstrated their industry-leading audio-visual, lighting and technical production capabilities, and the sounds of world-class entertainment provided by QCE increased the hype of the night.

After polishing off a scrumptious cocktail, we were divided into three groups for a progressive dinner. Entrée, main and dessert were served amongst three of the latest styling collections from Decorative Events & Exhibitions: ‘Tokyo Disco Collection’, ‘Moody Hues’, and ‘White Oasis’.

Dressed to theme, leading event staff supplier Clifford Wallace united with Sydney’s premium caterers Urban Events and Catering, Laissez-Faire and Aria Catering to serve a ‘WOW’ dining experience.

Overall the immersive dining and theatrical experience emphasised that Sydney is hitting new heights in event production and that the innovative and cutting-edge event industry isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
